MitOst

MitOst connects active citizens in an open and diverse network in Europe and its neighbouring regions. We encourage activities and implement programmes which foster cultural exchange, active citizenship, social cohesion and sustainable urban and rural development – beyond cultural, sectoral or linguistic borders.

 

MitOst was founded in 1996 by a few alumni of Robert Bosch Stiftung and volunteer enthusiasts who aimed at creating a platform for networking and further exchange. It is now an association with around 1,400 members in 45 countries, 10 alumni groups, several cooperation programmes and numerous international projects. The annual International MitOst Festival has become a get-together of our network of change-makers throughout Europe and abroad.
